AGN winds in Charleston – Day 1

This week I have the opportunity to attend the conference AGN winds in Charleston, South Carolina to learn and discuss the different research in Active Galactic Nuclei winds!  I know it sounds crazy boring, but I’m so excited to be here.

Today was just a meet and greet and reception/sign-in.  I walked around the campus of the College of Charleston a bit and it …is..BEAUTIFUL.  Just un-real.  A small taste:

That house is the ‘centre for academic advancement’…or something.  It’s the only example of victorian architecture in the city.  The whole campus looks like this!
